Jurassic Fibre
Jurassic Fibre thank Barden Network Engineering for hitting a major milestone as we have completed a 21km telecoms infrastructure link to Exmouth POP site and have finished the ODF build ahead of the target completion date.
COVID-19 has created challenges as a business we hadn’t ever expected, working under the umbrella of Openreach and the business status classified as a ‘Key Worker’ industry, BNE has risen to the challenge. We have implemented additional measures to protect the workforce and members of the public with guidance and advice from the Government, Openreach and our customers. We would like to thank all of our employees for their commitment and perseverance in difficult and unprecedented times, it is gratefully appreciated.
Employee Ownership Trust
Barden Network Engineering has become an employee-owned business and all employees have become beneficiaries of an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT).
BNE will remain as an independent business for the future and will operate for the benefit of employees of BNE. Job roles, salaries and terms and conditions of employment will not change as a result of BNE becoming employee-owned.
The combination of shared ownership and employee participation results in a business that is more engaged, innovative, productive and sustainable. A “win, win” for everyone!
What does this mean for you as an employee?
In terms of the day-to-day running of the business, it is important to stress that nothing will change. However, you will now be “employee-owners” and the business will be exploring new ways of rewarding you all for your contribution to BNE’s success, finding better ways of keeping you informed and encouraging you to improve our business.
