Barden Network Engineering has recently been working for Airband on bringing fibre broadband to the historic village of Clovelly. Connecting Devon and Somerset (CDS) is the programme responsible for delivering superfast broadband to the region. Until now, residents have been unable to access a fast and reliable broadband connection.
KN Circet has engaged with BNE recently to assist with hundreds of PONs they have to deliver on their Openreach contract, this is great for BNE Devon, the team are committed and ready for this new challenge.
Due to the continued business growth of BNE, the building work has started on the new Barden Network Engineering depot in Dunkeswell. This depot will be used for the BNE Jurassic Fibre contract, and the Jurassic Fibre team hope to move into their new offices in the next few weeks.

Two BNE engineers have been thanked by Honiton Police for their assistance with a fallen tree in the road on 19th August. The engineers were praised for being professional and polite, and for showing a great sense of community and public spirit in assisting the police with the fallen tree.
The Jurassic Fibre team successfully hit its target of 10,000 homes by the end of June. JFL’s Construction & OSP Manager, emailed ‘Firstly can I pass on a massive thank you to you and the whole team on behalf of JFL construction for making June a success’ and JFL’s Director of Network Fibre Construction & OSP, said ‘Great month of June with our latest milestone hit’.
The company operates in the telecommunications contracted work environment and provides resource, management and training for installation services in the underground and overhead communications network including surveying, planning, civils, cabling UG + OH, splicing, jointing, testing, commissioning and auditing for both copper and fibre networks.
