BNE Wales

Openreach FND Programme Manager for Wales once again sends his appreciation to the BNE team in Wales for delivering Q2 Barry.

“Just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to all the Wales team that has helped deliver and meet the Q2 target for Barry. I’m clearly aware of the amount of effort it takes BNE to achieve this result alongside other BAU and funded programmes. I would particularly call out the fantastic work your back office team have done in Merthyr during Q2 given we have been in a Covid lockdown period and pulling together information whilst working from home can be quite challenging”.

Fibre Cities Wales

Openreach Programme Manager for Wales Fibre Cities has commended the team on achieving Barry RFS of 4,393 homes which were above the 4,196 Q1 targets. The impact of Covid-19 on civils companies has been quite severe, and the mobilisation of civils gangs by BNE via telent meant that the programme was able to continue, creating sufficient fluid work to meet the EOQ target and keeping the cabling and jointing teams busy.

A BIG THANK YOU for the fantastic achievement!
