This is a full time role which requires great attention to detail and would be suitable for someone who is looking to pursue or progress their career in finance.

Specifically, you will be required to:

  • Assist with credit card processing and payments;
  • Co-ordinate administrative matters relating to fleet vehicles;
  • Provide support with payroll processing (no previous experience required);
  • Assist with credit control and raising invoices;
  • Assist with administration relating to staff training courses;
  • Other ad hoc duties where appropriate.

Ideally you will have had some experience of working in a business admin or finance role.

Other attributes include:

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Installation of underground cables using hand pull techniques.
  • Spanning of overhead cables between poles.
  • Clearing duct blockages.
  • Competent in the use of mechanical equipment.
  • Experience in the use of risk assessments, method statements and hazard identification, with a strong focus on health and safety responsibilities.
  • Familiar with electronic Apps and the ability to read instructions, complete paperwork and take photo evidence of work completed.

  •  Hold a full UK driving licence  (HGV licence would be beneficial)

Role Responsibilities:

Required Experience:

– Excavating in the highways and complying with NRSWA.

– Installing new duct work and chambers.

– Clearing blockages.

– Complying with Specification for Reinstatement of Openings in Highways (SROH).

– Communicating with internal and external customers and maintaining a positive, professional image of the Company.

You will need to:

– Hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months.

– Hold valid NRSWA street works Operative units 1 to 9 including the Openreach Civils accreditation modules.

– Be competent in the use of mechanical Civils equipment.

– Be conversant with risk assessments and hazard identification and have a strong focus on Health and Safety practices.

– You will be supplied with a works van with all the equipment you need to carry out the tasks.

– You will have a dedicated manager and supervisor to report to daily.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Plan, monitor and respond to work requests efficiently to deliver and collect materials from operational teams and sites.
